The design of the Pargo table originated from the “discovery” of the material used in the table top: a sandwich MDF sheet made of very thin pieces, with small inner squares. This structure creates a very light (yet also very resistant) panel, which requires fewer raw materials and less energy and, therefore, is more eco-friendly.The table top looks like a big postcard, hence the will to draw on it and crate a visual message. For the first edition we chose scientific illustrations of animals, namely a bream (“pargo” in Portuguese).
The black steel legs can be placed in two different ways: one is more suitable to its use as a desk and the other is better when you want a dining or meeting table.
