Rita Tigre is from Lisbon and has a degree in Furniture Design from ESAD Lisbon.
Driven by a desire to design and produce furniture in her own workshop, together with her husband, Paulo Tigre, a self-taught artist, Rita created her own company - De Raiz Design.
The handcrafted element and natural forms have always been the motto for all the work developed.
She moved with her family to Alentejo so that she could live surrounded by nature and teach her children the importance of a sustainable life.
